Team to watch: Xavier. The Muskateers boast the leagues best record and should be a dangerous team in the field of 65. They have non-conference wins over Memphis, LSU, and Missouri. Even though they have struggled of late, they will be ready for the tournament.

Player to watch: Dionte Christmas. This kid is lights out. Christmas has led Temple to some big upsets including one this year over Tennessee where he just went off in the second half. If Temple makes a run, it will because of him.

Upset watch: St. Joseph's. The Hawks have a very talented team but never seemed to put it completely together. Ahmad Nivins was named the A-10 player of the year and could become the second player in conference history to lead the league in FG % for three straight years. The Hawks could put together a nice run and burst a bubble of another team.

Tourney watch: Xavier is in for sure and I think Dayton is in as well. Rhode Island and Temple have outside chances at reaching the NCAA tourney. In the end, I see Rhode Island fighting for their post-season lives but coming up just short to Xavier in the finals.
