Team to watch: Jacksonville. The Dolphins have an easy path to the championship as they are the only team to get a free pass into the semifinals. Win two games and they are in the NCAA tournament.

Player to watch: Daniel Emerson. A big 6'8 forward from Mercer, Emerson averages 14 points and 10.5 rebounds per game. Emerson collected 15 double-doubles this year and had seven games where he had more than 15 boards.

Upset watch: Belmont. The Bruins nearly knocked off Tennessee earlier in the year and took Jacksonville to the limit in both games they played this season.

Tourney watch: With one spot on the line, it will come down to Belmont, Jacksonville and East Tennessee State. Already being in the semifinals is a huge advantage and I would expect Jacksonville to use that to gain a berth to the NCAA tournament.
